COLLEGE COUNSELING

We educate you about the recruiting process.  This process can be overwhelming whether you are a high profile athlete or not.  Where do you start?  When should you start?  How do NCAA rules effect you?  What should you be doing to set yourself up so when it does come time to make a decision on which college to attend, you have put yourself in a position to have as many options as possible.

COLLEGE TOURS

We show you more schools than you would normally visit on your own, all within a 5 to 7 day trip. By seeing a variety of college campuses you will be able to "experience" what life and learning will be like at the college level. By exposing you to a number of schools, you’ll be able to make the best choices possible when you decide to apply for college.

You tour with former college level athletes. You will be able to learn about what it’s like to play a sport at the college level from “the inside”, because each Future College Athlete tour is staffed by former national team players, past professional players, former college coaches, and or former collegiate players. This means you will benefit from their wide ranging experience and insight into what it’s REALLY like to play a sport at the collegiate level.

We counsel you about how your aptitude, attitude and learning style "matches" (or not), with the schools visited. Unlike any other college tour, you will have access to an "Academic Advisor" who will accompany you on the tour. While on tour, your Advisor will answer your questions and help point you to schools that are the right academic and social fit for you.

We let coaches see you play so you can show them your skills and abilities. At each stop in your tour you will meet the coaches (of your sport) at each college or university visited; you’ll see the facilities and athletic fields...and most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your athletic skills, as you will be able to participate in a “training session” almost every day...in front of college coaches and staff.

While it’s not a part of the tour, we can also offer schools and clubs help in organizing College Coaches Clinics—a platform for student athletes to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches from around the country. Players that attend FCA clinics will have a unique opportunity to interact with and be instructed by the college coaches in a training environment.
